SSC Tier-1 Postponed


Official Notice

The SSC Tier-1 exam has been postponed and this throws everyone in a state of dilemma. What should we do now? Would it be wise to study anything as the pattern is going to change?

Well! You can never be sure of the pattern, but one thing is clear - Quantitative Aptitude and English aren't going any where. So it would be wise to give general awareness and reasoning a break and focus your attention on English/Quantitative Aptitude for the time being. Tier-1 will most probably be held on 21st Aug and 28th August, so you have plenty of time to hone your english grammar/vocab and aptitude.

    Sir...for Gs portion...Lucent's single Gk book is fine or should i go through separate edition??like, for science portion...special Lucent sc is available and same 4 others...won't it be very tedious to tackle separately??

      Can't say anything about the pattern. Plinth to Paramount is good for grammar rules and if you want to start from the basics, then Wren and Martin

    I am glad that SSC CGL is online and is postponed.
    Transparency will increase and you will get more time to teach us and we will get more of your articles to study.

    Sir , can we expect more weightage for geometry, trigonometry,algebra in tier1 as usual or be ready to face surprise in quant...I am concentrating more on these topics..this will be my third attempt ,don't want to miss this time...

    1. Complete coverge of almost all types of questions in a chapter.
    2. Approach to the question is awesome
    3. Single exam oriented(ssc only)

    Constructive suggestions
    As you already mentioned, you could all the sections slowly with quant, starting with english.

    sir while filling up the form my result were not declared so i put approx. 65% aggregate. aftr 2 days my result declared it was 64.65 % will i face any problem in future ..sir plz clear my doubt.

    Hy sir, which coachng class u recommend in NEW DELHI or individual faculties for different subjects. I am doing well wid my prepartn by my own but as there s a tym I m planning to take crash course for 3 months.       You can go for MB Publication. It is good for Idioms, phrasal verbs, one-word substitutions, etc.
